What is an aup

An AUP, or Acceptable Use Policy, is a set of rules and guidelines established by an organization, institution, or service provider to outline the acceptable and unacceptable behaviors of users on their network, system, or internet platform. It typically includes provisions related to security, privacy, content, copyright, usage limitations, and consequences for violation of the policy. Users are usually required to agree to the AUP before accessing the network or service.
