It is true that many people feel frustrated that they did not use their school-learning in their career. However, formal education provides a foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills that individuals can apply to many areas in life - not just their professional lives. Additionally, ongoing learning and development outside of school is still invaluable to individuals and their success.
