Why is the Thai language dying?

The Thai language is in danger of dying out due to the increasing influence of English in Thailand. English is becoming the language of choice for many Thais, especially in the cities, and is being used more and more in business, education, and other aspects of life. This has led to a decrease in the use of Thai, and a decrease in the number of people who are able to speak it. Additionally, the Thai government has not done enough to promote the use of the language, and there is a lack of resources available to help people learn it.
