To be a college golf coach, you must have a strong knowledge of the game, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes. You must also have a bachelor's degree and experience in coaching or playing golf at the college level. Depending on the school, you may also need to have a master's degree or other advanced degree.
