Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed judges and my fellow debaters, today's topic is "What men can do, women can do better". I stand here in front of you today to affirm this motion.
For centuries society has falsely believed that men are superior to women in various areas of life such as education, politics, and the workplace. But this is absolutely untrue. Women have proven time and time again that they are just as capable as men, if not more so.
Firstly, we must acknowledge the remarkable achievements and progress that women have made in education. In recent years, more women have been graduating from universities than men. They are stepping up and taking leadership roles in various fields, proving that they are more than capable of being leaders and decision-makers.
Secondly, women have been stepping up in politics, both on a national and international stage. We have seen women such as Angela Merkel, Jacinda Ardern, Kamala Harris and more, lead their respective countries with poise and intelligence, outshining many male counterparts.
Lastly, we have seen women excel in the workplace. Many of the world's most successful companies have females as CEOs and board members, proving that when given the opportunity, women can hold their own in business, just as well as men.
In conclusion, women are not inferior to men. Females have proven to be strong, capable, intelligent, and deserving of equal opportunities as men. We need to break down the barrier of gender inequality and allow women to show their true potential. So I firmly support and affirm that "What men can do, women can do better". Thank you.
