Shinji hates Soul Society because he believes that it is a corrupt and oppressive government that does not care about the well-being of its citizens. He believes that the Soul Reapers are too focused on maintaining their own power and authority, and that they are not doing enough to protect the citizens of Soul Society. He also believes that the Soul Reapers are too quick to punish those who break the law, and that they are not doing enough to help those in need.
