Arithmetic operators and parentheses can be entered in Excel by typing them directly into the cell or by using the formula bar. To use the formula bar, click on the cell you want to enter the formula into and then click on the formula bar at the top of the Excel window. Type in the formula, including the arithmetic operators and parentheses, and then press Enter.
