1. A copper pan is made by a person. Is the pan synthetic?

A. No, it is not synthetic because copper is not recyclable.
B. No, it is not synthetic because copper is an element found in nature.
C. Yes, it is synthetic because copper needs to be physically separated from other elements.
D. Yes, it is synthetic because people make synthetic materials.

can someone help me with this please

I've never seen a question like this before and I've been around a long time. First, Cu is an element and that's real. A pan, even though it may be made by a person, is a real pan made by a real person. So what is a synthetic pan? In my opinion, a pan is a pan. I'm inclined to go with B. The Cu is a real element and the pan is a real pan so there is nothing synthetic about either.

It is interesting that all four answers deal with Cu being synthetic or not synthetic although answer D talks about people making synthetic materials. But there is nothing about a pan that makes it synthetic. It's a real pan, if for no other reason, because it is a real pan and not a make believe pan.
