if i punch myself and it hurts am i strong or am I weak?

Strong and weak are relative terms and don't mean anything. If you punch yourself until it hurts it only proves you are a bit nuts and/or masochistic. I'm sure you can find other activities that would more fun to pursue. Try them, you'll like them.
