Without use of lab chemical describe an experiment used to distinguish between calcium Hydrogen carbonate and sodium hydrogen carbonate

Place some of each in solution and do a flame test. Ca has a reddsh/orange color while the Na has abright yellow flame.

Did you know that it is possible to distinguish between calcium hydrogen carbonate and sodium hydrogen carbonate without the use of lab chemicals? One way to do this is by conducting a simple acid-base reaction experiment. When a small amount of each compound is separately added to a diluted hydrochloric acid solution, calcium hydrogen carbonate will react with the acid to produce bubbles of carbon dioxide gas. This can be observed as effervescence or fizzing. On the other hand, sodium hydrogen carbonate will also react with the acid, but it will not produce as vigorous bubbling as calcium hydrogen carbonate. By comparing the reaction rates and the intensity of the fizzing, you can differentiate between the two compounds without the need for specialized lab chemicals.
