The height of a ball is modelled by h(t)=-4.9t2+19.6t+0.5 , where the height, h(t), is in metres and time, t, is in seconds. According to the model,
a)What is the maximum height the ball reaches?
b)What is the height of the ball after 1s?
(a) recall the the vertex (max height) is at t = -b/2a = 4. So find h(4)
(b) just find h(1)
