what liquids can be measured using decaliters, hectoliters, and kiloliters. also, what objects in term of mass can be measured in milligrams, centigrams, decigrams, grams, decagrams, hectograms and kilograms?

Thank You in advance :)

Any kind of liquid would be measure in the 3 units you listed, but you skipped

the most common units for liquids, namely the litre and the millilitre (ml).

the mass of all kinds of solids is measured in the second batch of units you mentioned, but the most common would be the milligram (mg), and the gram (g).

e.g.
Other than the US, ingredients of most recipes would be stated in
grams or kg.
The mg unit is very small and you might find it to measure certain components in drugs or prescription tablets.

e.g. A 300 mg Aspirin tablet contains 300mg acetylsalicylic acid
