A truck travels up a hill with a 13-degree incline. The truck is traveling at a constant speed of 18m/s.

What is the horizontal component of the truck's velocity?
Answer in units of m/s.
What is the vertical component of the truck's velocity?
Answer in units of m/s.
I've tried doing sin and cos with the degree but it the sin comes out negative and the cos is just wrong. could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you!

h / 18 = cos(13º) ... h = 18 cos(13º)

v / 18 = sin(13º) ... v = 18 sin(13º)
