If someone was going to write a book predicting a future based on today’s current events, what might they predict the government would look like?

I am not entirely sure what someone would predict the government to look like; So many people have different opinions on all sorts of government styles, leaders and politicians, and current events. What one person would say is a good thing, another person would say it's wrong.
