Did you know?
Did you know that the length and breadth of a field can affect the distance covered by someone who runs around it? In a comparison between Anuj, running around a regular hexagonal field with a side length of 50 m, and Aman, running around a rectangular field with a length of 150 m and breadth of 115 m, we find that Aman covers a greater distance in one round. By calculating the perimeter of the hexagonal field, which is 6 times the side length, Anuj covers a distance of 300 m in one round. In the case of Aman, the perimeter of the rectangular field can be calculated as twice the sum of its length and breadth, resulting in a distance of 530 m covered in one round. Therefore, Aman covers a greater distance by 230 m compared to Anuj.
