What is 7/8 + 7/9? What do I do? I NEEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, no need to panic like that. ;)-

Just find the LCD (lowest common denominator) of 8 and 9. That is 72.

Convert the fractions to equivalent fractions with a denominator of 72.
7/8 = 63/72
7/9 = 56/72

Now add: 63/72 + 56/72 = 119/72

If you need to convert the improper fraction to a mixed number, just divide it.
119/72 = 1.6527777777777...
Then, just search online for the mixed number and you're done!

Hope this helps! :)

Thank you MRS, Amira you're a lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To add fractions like 7/8 and 7/9, you need to find a common denominator. The common denominator is the smallest multiple that both denominators (the bottom numbers) can divide into evenly.

To find the common denominator between 8 and 9, you can multiply them together. So, the common denominator will be 8 * 9 = 72.

Now, you need to convert the fractions to have the same denominator of 72. To do this, you can multiply the numerator and denominator of each fraction by a number that will give you the common denominator.

For 7/8:
7/8 * 9/9 = 63/72

For 7/9:
7/9 * 8/8 = 56/72

Now that both fractions have the same denominator, you can simply add the numerators together:

63/72 + 56/72 = (63 + 56) / 72 = 119/72

So, the sum of 7/8 and 7/9 is 119/72.
