I've seen a huge wave of people talk about Ms. Sue being dead and while that is sad to hear under every post, I was wondering how you all know that. I've been looking for something to confirm it and all I've seen is 4th and 5th graders arguing about cheating. Did a tutor tell you she passed?
Ms. Sue was a long-time tutor on Jiskha from about 2005 until her passing in Dec 2019. Several tutors here knew her well. Personally, I was always impressed by her ability to actually teach in an online setting. As a fellow tutor in those days, I learned a great deal from her.
To add to the message by MS, I was a tutor at the time of the passing of Ms Sue, also. MS, MS Sue and I, along with several other tutors who have since left the board, have been active tutors for many years. Therefore, I can confirm that also and I'm a long way (age wise) from being a 4th or 5th grader. :-)
