Oil is a good example of a nonrenewable natural resource as it is very common and used worldwide in large quantities. Oil is gotten from the deep sea beds and earth and can be used to produce various products such as gasoline, gas, diesel etc. hence it's high degree of exploration. The exploration of oil however leads to pollution of the water bodies thereby making drinking of water by farm animals and other uses such as for washing very difficult.  The contamination of the water bodies also poses a great risk to aquatic animals as it could lead to their death which also affects man and raises the cost of these animals in the market.

The population was around 100 billion and steel consumption began.

The population was around 100 million and steel consumption began.

Based on the graph description, the conclusion about steel consumption and population size in 1850 is that the population was around 90 million and steel consumption was not mentioned, so it cannot be determined. Therefore, the correct answer is:

The population was around 90 million and steel consumption information is not given for that year.

the options are

Steel consumption was around 100 million and the population was beginning to grow.
Steel consumption was around 100 million and the population was beginning to grow.

Steel consumption was around 100 billion and the population was beginning to grow.
Steel consumption was around 100 billion and the population was beginning to grow.

The population was around 100 billion and steel consumption began.

The population was around 100 million and steel consumption began.
The population was around 100 million and steel consumption began.

so would it be A?

No, option A is incorrect as it implies steel consumption at around 100 million by which there was no steel consumption. The correct option would be:

The population was around 90 million and steel consumption information is not given for that year.

thats not an option tho

In that case, the closest answer would be:

The population was around 100 million and steel consumption started to increase.
