I posted this before but no matter what I'm putting in it says wrong.

Oobleck, could you look at it PLEASE.
the question is
Express as sums, differences, and multiples of logarithms. Expand as much as possible.

ln(x^14√x+15/(12x−2)^15)

there is no parentheses in the numerator. It reads like this:

x^14√x+15 thank you!

as I said, there is no way to simplify log(√x + 15)

so all I get is
14lnx + ln(√x + 15) - 15ln(12x-2)
or, since multiplication is done before addition, there is nothing you can do at all, since
x^14√x+15/(12x−2)^15 = x^14.5 + 15/(12x-2)^15
and that's just a form of ln(a+b), which cannot be simplified.

The only thing I can think of is that the √ bar extends over the x+15, so that even though there are no parentheses, it is implied that x+15 is all under the √ sign. In that case, we are back to
14lnx + 1/2 ln(x+15) - 15ln(12x-2)
