I'm reviewing for a math test and I need help on how my teacher got their answer because I'm trying to follow what they did but I keep on getting confused (I think it's mainly the "t" that's throwing me off). I never get the final answer, because I always get an answer that is too small. I can give more information if needed.

______________________________________________

20(8(8/5)t) = 10(√3)^t

ln160/10 = ln(√3/8/5)^t

ln16 / ln(√3/8/5) = t

t = 34.9621

I forgot to mention that the work above is what my teacher did ^

20(8(8/5)t) = 10(√3)^t

??
Judging from your second line, it seems you meant
20(8(8/5)^t) = 10(√3)^t
160 * (8/5)^t = 10(√3)^t
160/10 = ((5/8)√3)^t
ln16 = t ln(5/8 √3)
t = ln16/ln(5/8 √3) = 34.9621

So, if that's your teacher's work. where is your work?
How did you get your wrong answer?
