These dang teachers never learn how to respect peoples opinions, or atleast try to help them. All i was saying was Wikipedia wasn't a trusted website, here he comes. I'm trying to help. Ugh people these days, like grow up and leave me the heck alone πŸ™„

@ "I'm just trying to help". I don't know where you came up with this story about Wikipedia but you have it all screwed up. I've been doing on-line tutoring for over 20 years and I have yet to find anything wrong about Wikipedia. They do a good job of weeding at the bad stuff. Sometimes they don't give information that is as THOROUGH as I would like but I've not seen anything wrong. You aren't the first person to suggest all kinds of bad things from Wikipedia. Yes, it's a lot of reading. Yes, it takes time to digest all of the information they put out there. The cases where students have said Wikipedia is a bunch of junk, to put it in words that parallel your thinking, I have found is the students did not read the information thoroughly, they didn't know enough about the subject to understand what was written, OR they were just too lazy to read what was there. Many just want answers and they don't want to do any work. If you have some specific knowledge where Wikipedia gave false information, please give me the citation with information about what was wrong and why it was wrong and the citation from the material to prove it wrong. If you can't back up what you're saying then please don't spew gossip and guesswork.

Thank you DS. Stay safe. Happy Mother's Day to you.

whats with the fighting?

Oof uh sorry. I get it to. @oobleck was being rude to me as well. Like, have you ever been to obedience school? I get it so I'm sorry. And I agree with what you said. It's actually not a trusted website, so sometimes teachers lie, which isn't good because they can get fired from their job for not giving the right information. I wouldn't recommend you using that website. Careful, because sometimes teachers can trick you, especially if you don't know them in real life instead of knowing them in a website.

Thanks for agreeing with me! that makes me feels kind of better :) Well I'm getting hungry so I'll cya later! Have a great day and stay safe! :D

You too!

And yw :)

Are you sure that is correct?

Don't trust Wikipedia! It's not a trusted site nor it wasn't approved! You can get a bad grade from using it! Dr. Bob please don't give students false information because thats bad, especially for a teacher because you can get in trouble for doing that. I'm sorry about Dr. Bob but I don't know the answer but I hope you can get it! bye have a nice day and stay safe and go back to God before its too late!!

DrBob222 is absolutely right.

Finally … someone spoke up in favor of Wikipedia articles. It’s about time!

Bruh thats not someone else thats you with a different name. You can't fool me πŸ€ͺ anddddd My teacher's told me not to use it. Do you see students using that website? I never said it wasn't "A bad website" I just said it wasn't approved. Who are you coming up in my face telling me that "I screwed it up"? No no no. YOUR the one! And instead of posting links, how about you just post the answers? Sometimes links aren't as helpful as posting the answers and explaining how you got them so he/she would understand it better. And shut up with your long paragraphs because that's not helping. See, thats why teachers (IM TALKING ABOUT YOU). Receive dislikes. You guys need to grow up and act more mature instead of yelling at students just because we said something wrong. Were not perfect, only God is. And I'm a Christian. What you should of said, was "Wikipedia is a trusted site because blah blah and so and so. and this is why it was a trusted website and I hope you can learn that it wasn't a trusted website, instead of coming at me like "If you can't back up what your saying blah blah blah". No no no. YOU need to back up your statement. How is Wikipedia a trusted website? I can't post a link here or otherwise I would. Oh look here? I found something. I found something! "Wikipedia is not a reliable source. Wikipedia can be edited by anyone at any time. This means that any information it contains at any particular time could be vandalism, a work in progress, or just plain wrong". Type in: Is Wikipedia a trustworthy source. BRUH! THATS ALL THE INFORMATION YOU NEED!! You need to improve on being a better teacher before yelling at a student. That was my opinion, and you should of looked it up first before yelling at me because you may never know. Sorry if I was rude, but you better not come at me again. Now have a good day and stay safe.

Just looking at it seems long lol
