In solving the algebraic equation
2( x - 5) = 2x + 10 , you end up with
-10 = 10.
What does this mean?
graph those two
y = 2 x - 10
y = 2 x + 10
slopes the same, m = +2
but y intercepts are different
so
lines are parallel, never cross
so
no intersection, no solution
