An image showcasing two skydivers jumping from a plane. The first skydiver is a lean Caucasian female wearing a teal jumpsuit and the second skydiver is a muscular Middle-Eastern male in an orange jumpsuit. The weather is slightly cloudy and the airplane they are jumping from is in the background, slightly blurred to show motion. Mediating factors like gravity, mass and air resistance are symbolized. Gravity can be represented by a series of arrows pointing downwards, mass can be shown by difference in size of skydivers, and air resistance as gusts of wind going upwards.

Two skydivers of different masses jump from a plane. In three to five sentences, explain how their falls compare, including the effects of gravity, mass, and air resistance

pls help

No, DrBOB is not right, asking for help is including sometimes giving the answer. Plus, this is jiskha, a website made for people to help others with their homework and most of the time, the answers are given.

If you wanted to act like a teacher, then act like one and maybe actually, oh I don't know, help out? Doesn't matter what the student wants or expects to get, you can at least still help them. jeez.

wow rude their just asking for help

can someone pls say what the answer is

Aren't y'all technically looking up the answers and cheating too? Like you're over here arguing about people asking for answers when you looked up the question too.

really no one gonna say it?

When two skydivers first jump out of a plane they experience gravity and only gravity. Air resistance only affects objects that have no mass. Mass is how much something weighs. Your mass changes depending on gravity, but weight always remains the same. As the two skydivers fall they will reach terminal velocity, that means air resistance is greater than gravity and they no longer fall.

right like u are supposed to help them lol isn't that why ur a teacher like grow up

jasmine you don't know who failing school except you and Ya lil army can stand back no asked for all this we just simply asked for help on a question they didn't ask for the whole test NOW does anybody have tips on THIS ONE question?

bruh i just needed some extra info and i start scrolling and i see the biggest argument, over a site for homework help, i have ever seen. just go to brainly if yall dont want this trouble lol

ms alcumbrac u is a lier iv asked for help but because theres aton of students in each live lesson we don't all get answered its not your guys fault but your not right either and why is aca so confusing like the literal setup of the school feels like your trying to confuse me. make the platform more kid friendly instead of message boards and hidden links in the corners of the platform that i have to click over 10 links to get to. and im not the only one complaining i hear teachers roast the platform aswell so if everyone involved has a problem with it maybe just maybe you should change it and stop changing how we do our sample works in math it changes every single semester put the math on the assigments like every other class i feel like math class is ligit against me. also all of you teachers are great and helpful besides mr mooney hes a mega virgin who deserves to be fired literally doesn't help the kids and if you ask him for help he acts like your bothering him and sends you a link that will not help you

@Loren Olson

You said that "Your mass changes depending on gravity, but weight always remains the same." Im not sure but, i remember learning that mass can not change, but weight can. Weight can change based off of gravity but mass will always stay the same. Idk if thats what you meant or not, but this is what i remember learning.

if teachers didn't want you to cheat they would care enough to teach you better to not cheat

Thank you Loren! I needed that answeer!

lol drama then loren comes and ACually helps

As long as your not copying and pasting the answer or using the exact words then it's okay to look for help to get an idea on how to answer the question, as long as your using your brain to come up with your own answer.

thanks Loren Olson for the answer. also what drama did I just read.

why does their always need to be drama because someone says something.

@What

It's important to be respectful to others, even if you disagree with their statements. If you have a correction or a different viewpoint, you can express it in a constructive and polite manner. Remember that online communication should reflect real-world interaction, and civility should always be present.

Dante, nobody asked you on what you agreed on. This ain’t no politics!

Why don’t we just make an intagram gc to help each other it wil be more low key

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help. And let's keep this platform focused on helping each other with homework and avoiding unnecessary drama.

loren is completely wrong none of what they said makes any sense almost everything is wrong about that statement

This is a test question that students have copied and pasted into Jishka asking someone else to give them the answer. Plain and simple!

Don't do it students! Teachers are WELL AWARE of what goes on here and we will write you up if you cheat. Yes, this is cheating.

Already flagged this for a literal test question. If you are struggling with it ASK ME FOR HELP. There are study guides on my home page and tons of ways to ask for help. :) I honestly could care less what an internet website says the answer is. I want to know what you know even if you have to say "i don't know" We go over ALL these questions IN CLASS and they are on the study guide. So literally you are avoiding ALL the resources schools give you in order to receive.

Y’all have teachers?!? Ask them for help 💀

y'all really do not know what the definition of being a teacher is & its incredibly sad lol, do teachers give you direct answers in school? No they do not. This why y'all failing school right now.

dr bob really do be right do

I agree with DrBob222

No, they aren't asking "just for help". They are asking for someone to do their thinking and all the work that goes into the solution of the problem.

We do not do your homework for you. Although it might take more effort to do the work on your own, you will profit more from your effort. We will be happy to evaluate your work though.
