The author shows it by making the characters face their fear. Here is a example . John was a new kid and he had no friends and so the author help the character develop by making the character go and talk to his class.

Sometimes you need help with an answer and a explication on how to get it allot of people who see the answer and the question will figure out how you got the answer. In the end, he was still smart as ever and helped me with algebra. You should take school a little seriously in highschool cause cheating gets wayy harder. :)

Watching a story is when the main problem gives the reader a clear idea of who the characters are and watching how they are responding to the main problem when it arises. Listening to a story is when the narrator is trying to tell you something important that is going on in the story or the problem or how the characters try to help fix the main problem. Listening to a story, Watching a story, and reading a story is different because your seeing how the main character changes or responds in different events in the plot.
