subjective with doubt, disbelief and denial

1. Creo que ellos ( jugar) al futbol.

2. No Hiego que ustedes ( estudiar )

3. Es obvio que Luis (aburrirse)

so confused on how to conjugate these - I have ten but these first three should give me direction on how to do this.

1. When "creer" is NOT negatative or interrogative, the Present Indicative is usual = juegan

2. Must be "niego?" = when you do NOT deny it, it implies it is true = estudian

3. It's obvious, so no doubt, no uncertainty, no Subjunctive! se aburre.

None of those 3 used the Subjunctive for the reasons above.

Sra

P.S. Now that you have met the Subjunctive you must decide if it is FACT = Present Indicative of Spanish I or DOUBT = Subjunctive.

To conjugate verbs in the present tense in Spanish, you need to know the subject pronouns and their corresponding verb endings.

1. Creo que ellos (jugar) al futbol. - "Creo" means "I believe" and refers to the singular pronoun "yo." So, we'll take the verb "jugar" (to play) and use its corresponding ending for "yo," which is "o." The correct form is "Creo que ellos juegan al futbol."

2. No creo que ustedes (estudiar) - Here, "no creo" means "I don't believe." The subject pronoun "ustedes" refers to the plural "you all" form. The verb "estudiar" (to study) has the ending "an" for "ustedes." The correct form is "No creo que ustedes estudien."

3. Es obvio que Luis (aburrirse). - The phrase "es obvio que" means "it's obvious that." The subject pronoun "Luis" refers to the third-person singular form. To conjugate the reflexive verb "aburrirse" (to get bored), we remove the "-se" ending and add the appropriate ending for "Luis," which is "e." The correct form is "Es obvio que Luis se aburre."

To conjugate verbs in Spanish, you need to memorize the verb endings for each subject pronoun:

- Yo (I): -o
- Tú (you): -as
- Él/Ella/Usted (he/she/you formal): -a
- Nosotros/Nosotras (we): -amos/-emos/-imos
- Vosotros/Vosotras (you all): -áis/-éis/-ís
- Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes (they/you all): -an

By applying the corresponding verb endings to the base form of the verb, you can correctly conjugate verbs in Spanish.
