If we are told that statistical significance has been achieved, what does that allow us to infer?

A. That the differences seen in the samples can be generalized to the population that the sample represents.

B. That the measures used are valid and reliable.

C. That each of the sample means and standard deviations are identical to those of their respective populations.

D. That the p-value must have been set at less than 0.05

Well, as I said I do not do statistics, but the whole purpose of analyzing the samples is to be able to generalize to the population from which the samples are taken.
