So i am going to a new school in a few days because my mother doesn't want me to do Connections Academy anymore because she has a new job. I just moved to a new area a few months ago and don't have any friends because they didn't actually like me.. What do I do now.

If you are going to a public school then their is a chance they use the same tests and worksheets as connections academy so you can still use jiskha but if not then still because Jiskha has majority of questions answered

I meant friend-wise. Nobody really knows me so I can't be myself.

I understand that moving to a new school and not having friends can be challenging. However, there are several steps you can take to help make new friends and adjust to your new environment:

1. Be open and friendly: Smile and try to be approachable. Simple gestures like introducing yourself, asking others about their interests, and showing genuine interest in getting to know them will help you build connections.

2. Join clubs or extracurricular activities: Participating in clubs, sports teams, or other extracurricular activities can be a great way to meet people who share similar interests. It also provides opportunities to bond with others through shared experiences.

3. Speak up and engage in conversation: Don't hesitate to join conversations or group activities. Be confident and contribute your thoughts and opinions. Active participation will help you integrate into social circles.

4. Find common ground: Look for shared interests or hobbies with your fellow classmates. These shared interests can be a great starting point for building friendships.

5. Be patient and give it time: Building friendships takes time and effort, so be patient with yourself and the process. It's normal to feel a little uncomfortable in a new environment, but with time, you will start feeling more at ease.

6. Seek support from a teacher or counselor: If you're feeling overwhelmed or need guidance, don't hesitate to reach out to a teacher, counselor, or other school staff members. They can provide advice, support, and resources to help you navigate your new environment.

Remember, making friends takes time, so don't be discouraged if it doesn't happen immediately. Stay positive and embrace the new opportunities that come your way.
