Well they live on a island in Lake Texcoco . My answer is; They built causeways to connect the island city to the lakeshore. They also made canals to move goods and people. Another thing they build was a chinampa , which was used to feed a growing population. The Aztecs also built a dike, which was a wall to hole back the water in the middle of the lake.(page 561) this should be correct. Use ur own words.
