Taking the ordinate of 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3. Calculate correct to 2 dp then approximate value of integral with upper boundary of 3 and lower boundary of

1 √x + 1dx/x

I can't tell whether

f(x) = √x + 1/x
or
f(x) = (√x + 1)/x
or
f(x) = √(x+1)/x

In any case, which approximation are you using?
Left- or Right-sum Riemann?
Trapezoid?
Simpson's Rule ?

I guess it's time to pick a method, study the examples you surely have (or can google), and do the math.

Come back with some specifics if you get stuck.
