Can someone please revise my college introductory speech<; its a college class, Introductory Speech

Famous eccentric artist Bob Ross once said, “Talent is a pursued interest, anything your willing to practice you can do.”
You all have talents of your own, be it athletically, intellectual ability, or perhaps your creative and full of imagination. You all are incredible and talented in some way shape or form, and you express that everyday, sometimes without even realizing it! It’s very fascinating to witness others individuality, which is what I’m discussing with you today; what I do and love is what makes me, well, me! I’m artistic, intelligent and very imaginative. There are some things, however, that truly make me unique. My love for art, self improvement and the military.

The first thing I’d love to talk to you about is my passion for art
I absolutely love every form of art. I love all forms of painting, sketching and every kind of art under the sun. Art is incredible and so expressive, there are so many medias to create with that I still am yet to discover.

Another thing I love about art is Its’ many words. Now you might think, words? You may have thought art is just images, clear pictures or abstract. However art is so much more, art speaks to you. Art is a form of storytelling, poetry, and emotion.

Transition: Through art, I can express myself, tell a story, and develop my personality.
Another thing I love, speaking of developing, is self improvement.

II. The best thing in life, is truly to watch yourself grow and improve.
I firmly believe the easiest way to do this, is by taking chances. Doing things you’ve never done before and growing from everyday experiences to become the best you can be. I love to improve myself in every aspect, like, for example, when I read to improve my vocabulary and writing skills.

Some of the best things I've discovered by getting out of my comfort zone is cooking, I didn’t think I would really ever be good at that, since I'm afraid of fire. The thought of getting burned, or sticking my arm in an oven so hot, my imaginative mind pictures the very skin to melt from my arm. Such irrational fears as this rattles me to my core. However with some help, one day I figured I should try to cook something, for myself, in order to overcome a fear and learn to try new things even though I was doubtful.

Transition: Another incredible way to grow, build character, and even serve your
country in the process, is by going into the military.

III. I grew up listening to my grandpas’ stories of his wild adventures in the military, curled up in a blanket listening attentively.

Growing up, my biggest influences were my aunt and my grandpa. They would tell me top secret stories of the places they’ve been and the people they have that they are still close friends with to this day. This excites me to no end, to hear about how they totally looked at the world differently and got to do so many exciting things while getting to serve your country simultaneously.
When I graduate, I want to be a pilot. I want to climb the ranks and learn about the military culture from the inside, instead of through stories. This is truly a huge part of who I am and I feel that you should know this about me.

To wrap things up, I would like to thank each and every one of you for being so patient and attentive for the sake of my speech. It’s appreciated more than you know. I hope now you understand that I am artistic, intelligent and very imaginative. However, most importantly, that I love to paint, improve myself, and strive to be an amazing attribute to my country through the military. I’ll forever carry with me Bob Ross’ quote, “Talent is a pursued interest, anything your willing to practice you can do.”

Introductory Speech

Famous eccentric artist Bob Ross once said, “Talent is a pursued interest; anything you are willing to practice, you can do.” Today, I want to share with you a little bit about myself and what makes me unique. I am passionate about art, self-improvement, and the military.

Firstly, let's talk about my love for art. I appreciate every form of art, from painting to sketching, and I am always eager to explore new mediums. Art is not just about creating visual images; it is a powerful form of storytelling, poetry, and emotion. Through art, I can express myself, tell a story, and develop my personality.

Moving on to self-improvement, I believe that the best way to grow and improve in life is by taking chances and stepping out of our comfort zones. For example, I have personally pushed myself to try new things like cooking, even though I had irrational fears. The process of facing those fears and learning new skills has been incredibly rewarding.

Finally, the military has played a significant role in shaping who I am today. Listening to my grandpa's stories about his adventures in the military sparked my interest from a young age. I have always admired the way military personnel look at the world differently and the opportunities they have to serve their country. When I graduate, I aspire to become a pilot and experience the military culture firsthand.

In conclusion, I want to thank all of you for your patience and attention during my speech. I hope you now understand that I am artistic, intelligent, and imaginative. More importantly, I want you to know that I love painting, improving myself, and striving to be a valuable asset to my country through the military. As Bob Ross said, "Talent is a pursued interest, anything you are willing to practice you can do."
