Thanks

Most of these sites state that it won't turn out good on dark hair... is that true or does it just take longer to come on dark hair? Thanks -MC

This is all wrong none of this information is true and that is all a lie of info on that site

To dye your hair without waiting for many hours, you can consider using temporary or semi-permanent hair dyes. These options typically require less time compared to permanent hair dyes.

1. Temporary hair dye: These dyes are designed to coat the outer layer of your hair and can be easily washed out with shampoo. They usually last for a few washes, depending on the product you choose. Temporary dyes can be found in various forms, such as sprays, gels, or mousses. Follow the instructions on the product and apply it evenly to your hair. Remember to protect your clothing and skin from potential staining.

2. Semi-permanent hair dye: These dyes penetrate the cuticle layer of the hair, resulting in color that lasts longer than temporary dyes. However, they will also eventually fade over time, usually after a few weeks. To use semi-permanent hair dye, follow the instructions provided with the product, which generally involves applying the dye to your hair, letting it sit for a certain amount of time (typically 30-60 minutes), and then rinsing it out.

Keep in mind that the actual time required will vary depending on the specific product you choose and the desired intensity of color. Always read and follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer, as they will give you the most accurate guidance on application and processing time.

Additionally, it's important to consider that if you want a long-lasting, dramatic change in hair color, permanent hair dyes are typically the most effective option, even though they may require more time and effort.

Remember to take proper precautions when using any hair dye, such as performing a patch test to check for allergies and protecting your skin and clothing from potential staining.
