  7. All of the official Jiskha volunteer tutors are adults with at least a bachelor's degree. Most have master's and some have PhD's.

  10. One thing I'd like to add ...

    If you want to be an effective tutor or helper, please use standard English in your responses. That includes correct spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and word choice. (And by word choice, I mean using "you're" when you mean "you are," not "your.")

    I'm always a bit stunned when someone asks a question that someone else answers with no capitals, no punctuation, poor control of English, etc. Why should students believe anyone who doesn't demonstrate those basic skills?
