I currently have 4 wild bunnies running around my yard. They are freaking annoying. Especially because they are doubling in number every month. Assuming this continues how many bunnies will be annoying me in 2 years.

Can someone please help I am lost?

You could do it by hand -- 4, 8, 16, 32, etc. -- but there's a formula that's easier. Unfortunately I don't know the formula -- so you can wait for one of our math tutors to post it.

Ok, thanks. Do you think you could notify a math tutor and see if they are able to help me? Happy New Year! 🎉

since they double every month, that means you multiply by 2 for each month. So, after m months, the population will be

p(m) = 4*2^m

Since a year has 12 months, in 2 years there will be 4*2^24 = 67,108,864

I hope you have
(a) a huge yard
(b) lots of lettuce
(c) no foxes

I have tons of foxes at my house. Is that a bad thing?

What do you suppose foxes eat?

Uh... Humans? I don't know?

rabbits, among other animals

James Doyle needs to read up on the concept of "food chain"!
