  1. Impulse: change momentum: 1700*24
    force= impulse/time= 1700*24/7 Newtons

    V = Vo + a*t = 0.
    24 + a*7 = 0,
    a = -3.43 m/s^2,
    F = M*a = 1700 * (-3.43) = -
    The negative sign means the force opposes the motion.
