How did the environment influence the cultures of the Northwest and Southwest?

The correct answer is the following.

Environment influenced the cultures of the Northwest and Southwest Native American tribes in different forms.

Nature was a big part of the belief systems of Native American tribes. The relationship they had with mother nature was so close that became part of its folklore, culture, and traditions. The environment represented the way they lived because nature provided them with everything they need to survive. Some tribes prospered through hunting, others through agriculture. Any way or the other, the tribes always had their bare necessities satisfied and they expressed their gratitude through chants and dances.
They even created totems or symbolisms that represented an aspect of the environment. It could be animal representations in their clothes or hats, it could be chants honoring the rain, the mountains or the prairies, it could be dance dedicated to animals such as the Wolf or to the Moon.

I HATE THIS SCHOOL SO MUCH, THEY REALLY MADE IT SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO. LIKE HOW HARD IS IT JUST TO PUT THE PAGES THE STUDENTS NEED TO KNOW IN THE WORK THEY HAVE TO DO. THE OLD SCHOOL I WAS IN MADE THE WORK EASIER TO LEARN AND IT GUIDED YOU ON WHAT TO DO. I DON'T EVEN KNOW ANYMORE BECAUSE I WOULD RATHER GO TO THE SCHOOL IN PERSON THEN ONLINE. ONLINE MAKES LEARNING HARD THEN IT NEEDS TO BE!

I guess would say The relationship they had with mother nature was so close that it became part of its folklore, culture, and traditions.

Oof don't listen to me

Just Trying to help :)

The environment influenced the cultures of the Southwest by the severe dry and hot climate. People would ask the gods for hopes of rain, good crops that year, etc. However the Northwest had a very favorable temperature, it was lush and green, a little less air but people got used to that, nice amount of rain, good environment for hunting and growing crops, etc. So, the Northwest didn't have to bother any gods for rain or for food, making them not as important to the Southwest.

Please don't copy, put it in your own words. Also don't hate on Ms. Sue for not understanding the question fully. It is not a good thing to do and makes you look bad. :/

any ways heres the answer but try to say it in ur own words so u dont get caught

The southwest is a very hot place and there are often droughts, this may have caused priests and leaders to call upon the gods they believed in and ask for rain. The Northwest lived along the Pacific ocean, This area was neither hot or cold, so they didnt really have to call upon gods.

The environment influenced the cultures of the Northwest and Southwest Native American tribes in different forms. Nature was a part of the Native American tribes. The Native American tribe loved nature so much, that it became part of its culture and traditions. They also had relied on the ocean (food, travel, and sea oil, whale, diet, etc...) so they would use wood from surrounding areas. And since they heavily relied on their resources, it was part of their everyday lives. So, the North American environment affected the culture of the first people in North America in a few ways. First, the environment dictated the animals that people could hunt and the crops people could grow, thus impacting what people ate. For example, Arctic cultures hunted caribou and moose while Northeastern people hunted deer and wild turkey. People also adapted the homes they built to withstand the environments in which they lived. These homes included igloos, tepees, wigwams, and longhouses.

i agree with jinx, read or at least look at the 1st page of what google offers, ill paste it here and try to use your own words like me, ill even have mine in this to. "Solution. The people of the Northwest coast had access to vast natural resources from the sea and forest, allowing them to develop societies with different social classes based on wealth. The lands of the Southwest peoples were arid so they resorted to farming their lands with the help of irrigation." my version is, "well northwest had most the resources and southwest only had farming, so i believe they traded like fish for carrots, or even for potatoes. so they traded wood water fish for fruit and veggies."
