I am almost 100% confident on these answers. Most of them I got from the textbook, and some that were verified on Brainly. For the short answer questions, please do not copy the wording in my answers exactly, the teacher will notice. Also note (THIS IS IMPORTANT) that these are the answers for the Honors Physical Science A Unit Test, unit 3 lesson 12. These are my own answers, but if you are having to come here for help then my answers are probably a better grade than what you would get otherwise. I'm not sure how much the honors test is different from the regular test, but I bet it is not too different and these answers will definitely help you out. As soon as I get my grade back I will edit this post with the correct answers if I got any wrong, and then you will definitely have a 100 if you decide to wait until then. This is October 2018, hope I could help.

1. B, that could not be divided
2. D, There is a dense, positively charged mass at the center of an atom
3. D, An electron has far less mass that either a proton or a neutron
4. C, They are isotopes of oxygen
5. B, Electrons travel around the nucleus in fixed energy levels with energies that vary from level to level.
6. A
7. C
8. C
9. B
10. C
11. B
12. D
13. C
14. C
15. D
16. C
(These do not count as short answers, copy mine exactly)
17. Atomic mass
18. Highest
19. Shape
20. N2O5 (O not 0 btw)
21. Potassium Oxide
22. A
(Here are the short answer question, please change up the wording for the sake of all of us)
23. Florine and Lithium are most likely to form an ionic compound.
24. 18, and 38 (no need to change here)
25. Silicon (this is the only one I am not sure of and kind of had to guess at)
26. Chlorine has the higher ionization energy, due to its close proximity on the periodic table to Florine.
27. Substance AB
28. The valence electrons, and maybe the protons. (I might advise excluding the "maybe the protons part.")
29. V is a transition metal, He is a noble gas.
30. ? (Magnesium) has an atomic number of 12, 2 valence electrons, and is most similar to Beryllium (Be).
31. Sodium Chloride
32. Covalent

I really do hope this helps. Please comment what you got and what questions you got wrong if there are any. If the written answers in problems 1-5 that I gave do not match up with the letter answers I gave, then it means the test shuffles the order of the multiple choice answers for each student. Therefor none of my answers are good. If this is the case, then please let me know and I will get back with you as soon as possible with all of the correct written answers. Also note that if you are retaking the test, these answers won't work. The test questions change if you try to retake it. Just a thought, if the students that read this want to, we can set up a new Jishka communication page where all of us can ask any question we want to from any subject in CA. We can converse about it, and if someone gets ahead and knows that answers for a certain quiz or test whatever, that can share those for the benefit of the rest of us. I don't know, it's just an idea. let me know. And for obvious reasons, don't talk about jishka in LLs. We can briefly refer to it by a code name in contexts like, "Hey ____ you want to talk later on ___ at this time?" Just something to think about, it might be a bad idea I don't know. I'm just sitting here at my computer typing whatever else I can think of, LisTEnIng tO roCk BAnDs THAt foRmeD in tHE lAtE 60's (maybe someone will get that. Think about getting offended by dirty jokes (no offense Thorlander)). Goodluck, I hope I didn't completely ruin your grade. And on another side note, please change at random one of the answers, despite the possibility of getting it wrong. It is a 32 question test, 1, 2, even 3 wrong answers isn't terrible. The point of that is so that not everyone is getting the same exact grade and the teacher won't bust us. I think CA knows about sites like Jishka and Brainly. Anyhow, goodluck again, sorry for the long post.
