    you copied that incorrectly. now, starting from that, you need two nitrates on the left:
    2AgNO₃ + MgCl₂ --> AgCl +Mg(NO₃)2
    Nitates are balanced, but silver...
    2AgNO₃ + MgCl₂ --> 2AgCl +Mg(NO₃)
    now, all are balanced, including silver and chloride.
