What is the mayflower compact?

A. a long-term treaty for trade routes with the duch tea company
B. a formal method to establish systematic order on the pilgrams
C. an economic agreement to freely make and sell goods to the british
D. a formal agreement by the pilgrams abide by "just equal laws" drafted by leaders of there own choosing
i think its A

It is not A, it is D, and seriously Ms.Sue giving people wrong answers and refusing to explain why someone is wrong is just kind of crappy? I'd get you might be frustrated but setting someone up for failure is not very mature, much less so if the someone is a student literally begging for help. Sometimes someone may be overwhelmed by information when researching and just need a summary and kind words.

The mayflower compact was a document signed by the pilgrims aboard the mayflower as a legally-binding form of self-government until the company could get formal permission from the council of england to establish a territory outside the Virginia company patent. They got permission in the form of the pierce patent of 1621.

Sometimes "google it" isn't very helpful.
