Either you got the wrong assignment, or you cannot read. Either way, those answers are wrong for Unit 1, Lesson 1.
Everyone who put true for number 1 is right, anyone who put false is wrong. I did Connections academy for 5th and 6th grade to know that there is open and closed book test. It may be different for some of you because you may be in a different grade in which you don't have a open or closed books test. But for those of you who put true for number 1 is correct. If you have instinct feeling or you know the answer you put is correct go with it. I had times when my gut was telling me to keep this answer but when I changed it because I thought my first answer was wrong but when I submitted it, the answer I had before I changed it was correct. So if your gut tells you number 1 is true, keep it that way, don't change your answer because somebody may think its wrong, or they don't know.
I put true for number 1 and and put all the correct answers in for the next 7 questions, I got 14/14 100%. For those who said false, your wrong. Follow Molly's answer, she will lead you to 100% and success of this assessment (For Unit 1 Lesson 1 Quick Check, Getting Started In Middle School Language Arts).
