11. In the book there is a family separation. moon shadow lives in the middle kingdom of china with is mom and with no knowledge and a father. Moon shadow has been told stories about his father from his mother. Moon shadow never met his father because many men were forced to leave there family's to move to America so that is why Moon Shadow never met his father. They never mad the money to support in middle kingdom. It was harder for his mother when the father had decide for moon shadow to stay with him for a while. So when Moon Shadow had left his mom she was the only one strong enough it work at the farm while Moon Shadow was gone.
12.. The impact the novel had on me as a reader is that they were trying to make their air plane fly and they tried and tried. Yes, yes I would recommend this novel to a friend. Because it is very interesting, and I could help understand why most thing are made by china. In the novel moon shadow had to travel to America to stay with his father Wind rider, for every long time is dad has been living is America for years. The reason why the dad's name is wind rider is because he is trying to make an air plane fly.
