I am doing a group project and i have to make the mla heading but i don't know how to do that with multiple names. i have already looked it up on the internet and in my mla format book and it doesn't say how to write it in either. i also want to know how i would make the header and footer with everyone's name as well.

If there are more than three authors you can use:

Doe, Mary Jane, et al.

To create an MLA heading for a group project with multiple names, you can follow these steps:

1. Start by positioning the heading in the top-left corner of the document.
2. Type your or your group's name on the first line.
3. On the next line, type the course name or number.
4. On the third line, mention the instructor's name.
5. Finally, include the due date of the project, written in day-month-year format.

For example:
Your Name or Group Name
Course Name or Number
Instructor's Name
Due Date (Day Month Year)

Regarding creating a header and footer with everyone's names, here's how you can do it in Microsoft Word:

1. Go to the "Insert" tab in Word.
2. Look for the "Header & Footer" section and select either "Header" or "Footer" based on your preference.
3. Once selected, a list of pre-designed header/footer templates will appear.
4. Choose one that you like, or customize it according to your requirements.

To add everyone's names, you can follow these steps:

1. Double-click the header or footer area to enter the editing mode.
2. Position the cursor where you want to add the names.
3. Type the names of all group members, separating them by commas or semicolons.
4. You can also include the project title or any other relevant information.
5. Customize the font, alignment, or other aspects as needed.

Remember to save your document after making these alterations.
