what would be a definition that a 50 old or above people would give for HERO


and even a chil less than 11?????????????

    Definition #1 is what I dealt with all through school and college in reading and writing about literature. Examples: Achilles, Roland, Beowulf, etc.

    Definition #2 is very, very close to my own personal understanding of the word.

    And, yes, I'm over 50!!
