What type of figurative language appears in the following sentence?

The computer moaned and groaned as it rendered the large video file.

A. Simile <--- my answer
B. Metaphor
C. Personification
D. Symbol

I chose A because the sentence uses "as", but I'm not sure that correct.

    The mere presence of "as" or "like" does not automatically indicate simile.
