Portfolio: you will design an experiment to investigate the relationship between the number of cool loops and the strength of a solenoid. Once you have an experiment plan carry out your experiment and record your data. After you have finished conducting the experiment, write a conclusion that explains your resaults.

D battery
Electrical tape
Long nail
Metal wire
Paper clips
I don't have any of this, so I can't do it:/ Plz help

  2. You can get most of the stuff at Walmart, or wherever. However, the wire is harder to get. I recommend magnet wire, it is available at Radio Shack (it is called magnet wire, about 9 dollars for a 300 foot spool). You might call a couple of electrical repair shops and see if they will give you 20 feet of Guage 28 wire (magnet wire). If they have it, they will give it to you.

  3. All you really need for this assignment is paperclips and copper wire or magnetic wire which are both easy to find! Hope this helps everyone!!
