what does [-8 4] equal ?

-3[ 0-1]
[ 6 3]
How do I do this ? Help please

I have no idea what you are doing. Are those vectors or matrices or what ?

There Matrices , Sorry I don't know how to type it on the laptop

can you describe it in words?

is it a single matrix like
| -8 +4 |
| +0 +3 |
| +6 +3 |

and you want something about it ?

Anyway --- go here :

http://matrixcalc.org/en/

it has a -3 on the outside of it

|-8 4|
-3|0 -1|
|6 3|
That's how it looks

well it didn't come out right again but thank you anyway , Ill check at out rigt now

Oh like this?

| -8 +4 |
-3| +0 +3 |
| +6 +3 |

now does it want the product or -3 times the determinant I wonder ?

what am I supposed to type in matrix b ?

Perhaps nothing. I need to figure out what the question is :)

it just says what does it equal

That's the question , but you wrote +3 twice , the middle one is -3|0-1|

Well, if you multiply a matrix by a scalar, you multiply every element by the scalar

|24 -12|

|0 +3 |
|-18 -9|

Ohh I get it now , Thanks so much , but now im kinda confused about the negative signs

Thankyou:)

You are welcome. Good luck !

Thank you so MUCH ! :)
