1. 3-x=4-3x
And
2. x/4-8=16-3/4x

  3. 2nd one:

    x/4- 8 = 16 - (3/4)x
    multiply each term by 4 , the LCD

    x - 32 = 64 - 3x
    4x = 96
    x = 96/4 = 24


    1st one is even easier, give it a try.
