[In the last sentence, what does 'it' refer to? Does 'it' refer to 'Green Park'? Or does 'it' refer to 'distance' as an impersonal pronoun?]

    "I was able to up to 100..." makes no sense. The second sense does: "I was able to do..."

    "it" refers to the park, not the distance.
