Thank you Writeacher. Does this mean I am completely wrong with both questions?

  3. Writeacher

No. The search results were to help you with 2.

I think you're right for 1, but be sure to wait for Ms. Sue or Damon or someone to double-check.

  4. girly girl

Okay thank you! In the meantime, I will look through the search results and determine my answer for number two:)

  5. Damon

    I agree with Writeacher
    Number 2 is NOT B or C
Engagement is not telling the other guy to take a long walk off a short pier.

  6. Damon

    1. is correct, so far, I hope.

  7. girly girl

Thank you Damon! I have done some research and its helped a little, but I am still confused with number 2. If it is not B or C, could it be A. collective security?

  8. Writeacher

Yes, I agree. If you look up each of those words -- either individually or as two-word terms if needed -- you should see that "multilateral" is similar to "collective" in this context -- that is, that many (multi-) countries (-lateral or sides) work together (collective), not in isolation.

    Thank you again Writeacher!
