What strategies could I use to re-sell products at the flea market and earn a higher profit?

I watched the show the apprentice that this question is based on and in that the winning team chose to have their booth outside and sell women's jewellery and clothes that they customized, and the losing team had their booth inside and sold a variety of things from Chinatown.

My job is to have 2 different strategies backed up by statistics that would be better than the ones the teams had, I had ideas I asked my teacher but it wasn't what he was looking for. Please help me, thank you.

I have a friend who does exactly this -- but she re-sells things via craig's list and her Facebook page (with photos).
