I posted this before can someone please check my answers and help me thanks:)

2 rectangles have equal areas determine the area of each rectangle then use this info to determine the perimeter.

rectangle one:

length of 2p + 3
width of 3.8

after my work i got p= 1.5
so the area is 14.4 and the perimeter is 19.6

is it correct?

rectangle 2 :
length of 6-p
width of 2.4

and im stuck on this one

can someone check my work for the first rectangle and help me on the second one, thanks :)

How did you get p from one rectangle? Odd.

If areas are equal
area1=area2
(2p+3)*3.8=(6-p)2.4
7.6p+11.4=14.4-2.4p
10p=25.8
p=2.58
